1. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

We are committed to delivering the books in good condition. There is a possibility of damage in transit, manual error in sending the wrong book set, or unpreventable manufacturing defects. In these cases, we will replace the items at no additional cost, provided that the request for replacement or return is made within 7 days from the date of delivery.

For orders that have been wrongly placed, cancellation must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order. Once the order is dispatched, cancellation is not practical. After this period, the order will be treated separately. Kindly refer to the table below for charges:

2. Condition of Items

Books must be returned in their original, unused condition and packaging. Items that show signs of wear, damage, or have been written in may not be eligible for return. Upon receiving the returns, its acceptance will be communicated.

3. Return Process

To request a return, please contact our customer service team at cs@shivambook.com or call us at 9137718836. Provide your order number and reason for the return. We will provide instructions for returning the book(s) to us. We shall not be responsible for any items sent to us for return/replacement without our confirmation.

4. Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect book sent or damaged books). In cases where we are at fault, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

5. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. If you prefer a store credit instead of a refund, please inform us when initiating the return.

6. Exceptions

Certain items, such as customized or special-order books, are not eligible for return or refund.
